This page is maintained by Vialux Supply to answer common security and privacy questions about our store. It describes the controls currently in place. It is not an independent certification or audit.
Accounts & authentication
- Email/password sign-in with industry-standard password hashing handled by our managed auth provider.
- Sessions are scoped to your browser; signing out clears local credentials.
- Administrative access is limited to authorized Vialux staff and is enforced server-side.
Payments
- Card data is collected and processed by our PCI-compliant payment processor (NMI).
- We do not store full card numbers, CVV codes, or full magnetic stripe data on our servers.
- Order totals, shipping details, and the last reference identifiers needed for support are retained with your order record.
Data we collect
- Account info: name, email, and shipping address you provide.
- Order info: products purchased, totals, shipping selections, and tracking once available.
- Operational info: basic logs needed to keep the site running and to investigate problems.

Hosting & infrastructure
- The storefront runs on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit (HTTPS) across all customer-facing traffic.
- Customer data lives in a managed Postgres database with row-level access controls so users can only read their own orders and profile.
- Backups and platform patching are handled by the underlying managed cloud provider.
Subprocessors
- Payments: NMI (card processing).
- Shipping & tracking: Shippo (label purchase and tracking updates).
- Transactional email: our managed email provider for order and account notifications.
- Hosting & database: our managed cloud platform.
Your rights
- You can request a copy or deletion of your account data by contacting us.
- You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any marketing message.
- Transactional messages (order confirmations, shipping updates) are sent only as needed to complete your order.
Reporting a security concern
- If you believe you've found a security issue, please email info@vialuxsupply.com with details and steps to reproduce.
- Please do not publicly disclose the issue until we've had a chance to investigate and respond.
